The annual school funfair ‘Hungama’ , a kaleidoscope of colours and activities, transformed the usually serene campus to a bustling carnival. Excitement danced in the eyes of students and teachers alike, fostering a sense of community as they gathered to celebrate a day brimming with camaraderie and   entertainment.

Manipal School, Attavar, celebrated children's day with the annual extravaganza ‘Hungama’. The celebration commenced with a special assembly where teachers took centre stage, showcasing their talents through a lively show of dance and songs. The assembly marked the beginning of a day filled with excitement highlighting the unique bond between teachers and students at school.

The school campus buzzed with excitement as it transformed into a lively carnival, offering a variety of activities and surprises. The students engaged in game stalls showcasing their playful spirit, thrills and chills awaited in the horror house, the jukebox played children's favourite tunes and the beats inspired impromptu dance parties creating an atmosphere of pure joy.

A mesmerizing magic show captivated the junior school students, weaving a spell of wonder and astonishment. The magician's tricks added a touch of magic to the already enchanting day.

The air in the school cafeteria filled with the aroma of diverse cuisines. From savoury snacks to sweet delights, the culinary offerings left everyone's taste buds thoroughly satisfied.

Adding a heart-warming touch to the event, Manipal School extended a warm welcome to the specially-abled students from Chetana Child Development Centre, Kodialbail. Throughout the day, these special guests were not just observers but active participants engaging in various activities and sharing their joy with the entire school community.

Their presence highlighted the school's dedication to nurturing empathy and understanding. The event became a poignant reminder that ‘Hungama’ is not only about celebration but also about creating lasting memories that transcend barriers and build connections.

In heartfelt feedback from Veena, a teacher from Chetana Child Development Centre, she expressed her appreciation for the well-organized children's day programme at Manipal School. The students participated in a masterclass on ‘How to Set up a Small Business,’ covering various aspects to be considered while establishing a stall, including cost management, presentation, and hygiene. Impressively, 15% of the profits were earmarked for a social cause, highlighting the school's commitment to instill a sense of social responsibility.

‘Hungama’ at Manipal School not only celebrated children's day with enthusiasm but also showcased the school's dedication to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for all.
