It is easy to blame the car drivers because the outcome was tragic for the pedestrian. Ideally, one cannot risk crossing highways by feet where it is expected that vehicles move at high speeds. As long as the card driver was within the legal speed limit, driving at high speed is accepted. Highways are for vehicles and not for pedestrians. Issue in India is there are no safe pathways for people to get across. Even when there are safe pathways, people risk their lives because of our third world attitude. Sab chalta hai. Just think - what if the car person tried to avoid a sudden person or animal coming on the road and ending up hitting a divider or pole or other vehicles leading to more human deaths. Jumping to conclusion is easy, critical thinking is hard.

Everything will be control only when stringent law implemented like blood money/capital punishment otherwise these reckless drivers/criminals would kill people like cockroaches.

DK roads have become harbingers of death especially after widening of roads; now even pedestrians are also not safe; considering the number of people dying in road accidents almost every day, there is no guarantee that someone who goes to the road will return back in one piece😞🙏

Uncontrollable speed is what many drivers try to achieve on highways... A bit of careful eye on the front can save lot of trouble... At the last second human can not move any percent quicker than the speeding car... Sad loss of life and quite avoidable if the driver was a bit more careful... RIP to the departed soul...
