Somehow I feel proud that Dr. Arathi is visiting the family and family is throwing their weight behind Advocate Alva. I am aware that there are some tenacious female lawyers from a particular community who are doing commendable job in the lawyer fraternity. But the community trusting Advocate Alva to do the job, speaks volumes. Shall we for once celebrate secularism based on bottom up confidence? We did not have many such opportunities since 1947.
