Bengaluru, Nov 27: The state government took out an order on Monday November 27, in which it has appointed L K Atheeq as additional chief secretary to Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.

Dr Rajneesh Goel has been relieved from the post.

Atheeq is also placed in concurrent charge of additional chief secretary to government, finance department. He had taken charge as the additional chief secretary of the finance department on June 30 earlier this year.

In the notification taken out in this regard by K V Ashoka, under-secretary to government it is said, “Atheeq L K IAS, additional chief secretary to government, finance department, government of Karnataka is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as additional chief secretary to honourable chief minister relieving Dr Rajneesh Goel IAS from concurrent charge. Atheeq L K is also placed in concurrent charge of additional chief secretary to government, finance department, government of Karnataka with immediate effect and until further orders.”
