Kolkata, Sep 2 (IANS) Antonella Roccuzzo, the childhood sweetheart of soccer superstar Lionel Messi, called up Friday morning to wish him luck before his debut as Argentina captain in the FIFA international friendly versus Venezuela in the city.
Channel 10, a Bengali TV channel which has bagged the rights to telecast the historic match, in a programme said Roccuzzo called up Messi in the morning to wish him luck and also told her man to score in the game.
Roccuzzo, an Argentine beauty queen and model was born in Messi's hometown Rosario in the South American nation. They have been friends since childhood and rumours of their secret marriage have been doing the rounds for sometime.
The city's Salt Lake stadium is hosting the first ever international football friendly to be played in the country. Celebrities from various fields across the country are expected to witness the historic duel.
