Mangaluru: The Yenepoya School observes Kanakadasa Jayanthi

Mangaluru, Dec 1: Commemorating the life of the revered saint and poet Kanakadasa, The Yenepoya School organized a gathering at the school campus for students to appreciate and celebrate the philosopher's contributions to literature, philosophy, and social reform.

The programme commenced with veneration to the Almighty that was followed by speeches conveying the importance of the occasion.

The principal garlanded the portrait of the great saint. A lyrical ode was presented with representation. During the assembly, the students also spoke about the significance of Constitution Day that adopted the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949.

Students crafted posters for the event and Preamble was read out to the audience.
