Moodbidri, Dec 2: Carmel Play Home and the Kindergarten students of Carmel School, Moodbidri celebrated Colours Day with joy and enthusiasm on November 27 in the school premises.

All the tiny-tots from play home to UKG and their teachers were dressed colourfully to celebrate the unique occasion.

The classrooms and activity hall were decorated with various colours to welcome the children. The tiny - tots looked beautiful and pretty with coloured dresses. The day began with a prayer and continued with activities like singing, rhymes and jingles on colours. Students also brought toys, balloons, snacks and other things according to their choice of colours.

Activities were conducted for the children. They prepared different craft items of their given colours like hand print with different colours, using cotton to prepare rabbit, dove, cat, polar bear, colouring of rainbow etc.

They were taught to identify the colours and the items. All the children enjoyed the special day with fun and frolic and returned home happily.
