Udupi, Dec 4 : The confraternity Sunday was celebrated at St Francis Xavier Church in Udyavara, ahead of the annual fest. The annual feast will be held with grandeur on December 5-6th. On Dec 3, the Sunday of brotherhood and unity was celebrated with gusto.

Fr Dr Rajesh Rozario, professor of Jeppu Seminary who presided over the holy Eucharistic celebrations, in his homily to the devotees said to 'enlighten hearts in Holy Eucharist and live as Christ's replicas in the society. Christ took human birth and came to earth and lived as a reflection of God while maintaining his humanity. Like them, we must live as a reflection of God. This is the highest gift we can give to Christ.'

After the Holy Eucharistic celebrations, the Holy sacrament worship was performed. A grand and devotional procession of Holy sacrament took place in a specially decorated vehicle.

Fr Stany B Lobo, parish priest Fr Leo Praveen D'Souza, assistant priest, religious sisters and more than a thousand devotees participated.
