New Delhi, Sep 5 (IANS): Global telecom infrastructure firm Nokia Siemens Networks Monday said it has appointed Sandeep Girotra to lead its business in India.
Girotra, so far responsible for key customer accounts in India as sub-region head, will be based in Gurgaon and his appointment takes effect Oct 1.
"I am privileged to lead the India region at a juncture when the Indian telecom industry is ready for the next phase of transformation," Girotra said.
"We are the leading 3G infrastructure and services partner in the country with 30 percent market share," he said. "We will continue to play a leading role in the overall development of the country's telecommunications industry."
