Abu Dhabi – UAE – Sep. 05: Abu Dhabi’s Konkani Speaking Community will be celebrating the feast of Nativity (“Monthi Fest”) on Thursday 08 September 2011 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral premises in Abu Dhabi.
The evening’s programme will commence at 8.30 pm with the offering of flowers and blessing of new corn in front of Church Grotto, followed by a procession and Eucharistic celebration in Konkani.
Konkani Cultural Organization in their communiqué to Dajiworld have requested all children to be present at the church premises at 08:15 p.m. to commence the ceremony on time.
After the ceremony blessed corn will be distributed and as per KCO’s tradition light refreshments will also be served to the congregation.
