Mangaluru: Human Rights Day observed at Carmel School

Mangaluru, Dec 11: With the spirit of hope, the students of class IV A and B of Carmel School came together to celebrate 75th Human Rights day on December 11 at Mother Veronica Hall.

The programme began by imploring the blessings of Almighty through a prayer service. Dhanvi Nayak welcomed the gathering. Rafa Fathima, Mohmmad Mazin, Shravani S, Vaibhavi enlightened the audience on the significance of the day. A meaningful skit was enacted highlighting the basic Human Rights of an individual which was followed by a dance. A meaningful song was sung emphasizing the awareness of human rights.

Sr Prem, the administrator, in her message stressed on the importance of Human Rights. She also gave a few tips on ways to help one another when their rights are curbed.

The programme was compered by Devananda Vinod and Kahani Y Shazia Amina proposed the vote of thanks.
