Bahrain: Preparations in progress for annual ‘Kannada Vaibhava’

Bahrain, Dec 13: The prestigious Kannada Sangha in Bahrain, honoured with a state award, is all set to celebrate its annual program, 'Kannada Vaibhava.' The grand event will take place at 5:30 pm on December 16 at the Kannada Bhavana auditorium, featuring a range of entertainment programs in the presence of esteemed local dignitaries.

The inauguration will be conducted by S Ganesh Rao, the founder president of the Karavali group of institutes and G R Medical College, Mangaluru. The event promises to be a vibrant synthesis of the region's culture, language, and art. Special guests for the evening include Sirsi MLA Bheemanna Naik and renowned Kannada film actor Ravishanker, who will officially inaugurate the programme.

The main attraction of the evening will be the performance by the popular dance troupe, Sankarshana Academy from Bengaluru, showcasing a variety of dances at the Kalamantapa auditorium under the leadership of Dr Suman Ranjalkar. Additionally, talented artistes from the sangha will display their skills, adding to the cultural richness of the event. The annual souvenir of the sangha, named 'Kaveri,' will also be released during the celebration.
