Beltangady: Sacred Heart College Madanthyar holds industry visit

Beltangady, Dec 14: On December 14, the department of MCom at Sacred Heart College Madanthyar organized a comprehensive industry visit programme, offering 37 students a valuable opportunity to explore the operations of two prominent industries in Ganjimath.

The first destination was ACE Food Industries Private Limited, where Harish, the production manager emphasized crucial safety measures.

The students were divided into two groups, led by Kamlaksha and Ashika, the assistant production managers who provided insightful guidance on various aspects of the industry, including the manufacturing processes of potato wafers, banana chips, and other food products.

Subsequently, the group visited Cocoa Rich Industry in Ganjimath, where Hariprasad, the sales head delved into the intricacies of manufacturing drinking chocolate products.

Both industries presented a comprehensive overview of their operations, covering topics such as raw materials, supply chain dynamics, and import-export procedures.

The students gained firsthand knowledge and insights into the practical aspects of these industries, enhancing their understanding of the complexities involved in food production and beverage manufacturing.

Accompanied by three staff members, this industry visit provided a valuable bridge between theoretical learning and real-world application for the participating students.
