Reddy ousts Bhosale in Chennai ITF tourney


Chennai, Sep 7 (IANS) Top seed Rutuja Bhosale of India went out in three sets against compatriot Snehadevi Reddy in the pre-quarter-finals of the Servo ITF junior tennis tournament, here Wednesday.

Snehadevi won a tight first set 7-5, but Rutuja fought back to take the second quite comfortably at 6-1 before losing the third in the tie-break 7-6 (8).

Eighth seed Gorngnaok Tiragnaok from Thailand was also eliminated as No.9 Spruti Shivalingaiah beat her 6-4, 6-2.
