Lucknow, Sep 7: Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) will assist in investigating Wednesday's Delhi High Court bomb blast case. An ATS team from UP has already reached Delhi and visited the scene of incident.
It is expected that they are there to collect first hand reports and vital clues. ATS is already probing the bomb blast during 'Ganga Aarti' at Sheetla Ghat in Varanasi last year on December 7.
Meanwhile, Special DG (crime, law & order) Brij Lal said that directions have been issued to the police for upgrading the security of judicial establishments as High Court, district courts etc. He stated that special vigil will be on any unclaimed objects lying or kept in any vehicle.
Now physical frisking has been made compulsory before entry in multiplexes, malls, theatres, railway stations, airports and other public places. Places which are frequented by foreigners as Tajmahal in Agra will be further under security cover.
Important establishments such as Vidhan Sabha, airports, secretariates have also been provided upgraded security cover.
