Mangaluru: Service learning activity held for students of Carmel School CBSE

Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 16: Carmel School CBSE conducted a service learning activity which aimed to promote safety awareness by distributing first aid kits among vendors and city bus drivers in the neighborhood.

Students of grade 5 ABC actively participated in preparing the first aid kits, gaining practical knowledge about essential emergency supplies.

The contents were carefully selected to cater to common emergency situations encountered by vendors and bus drivers. Educational materials detailing the usage of each item were prepared to accompany the distributed kits.

The distribution was organized at convenient locations for vendors, fishmongers and bus drivers.

Students, along with faculty, engaged in a meaningful conversation with recipients, explained the purpose and utility of each item within the kit. The recipients enthusiastically interacted with the students and faculty and also clarified their doubts regarding proper usage of first aid supplies.
