Uttar Pradesh, Dec 20: Adarsh Kant Shukla, a resident of the state, astounded everyone by successfully clearing the UPSC examination in his initial attempt at the age of 21.

Coming from a lower-middle-class family, Adarsh's father serves as an accountant in a private company. Despite facing financial constraints, Adarsh's father harboured aspirations of becoming an IAS officer, dreams that remained unrealized. However, he wholeheartedly supported Adarsh in pursuing his goal of becoming an IPS officer.

Demonstrating brilliance in academics since childhood, Adarsh completed his BSc from National P G College in Lucknow, where he even earned a gold medal in biology. Despite excelling in other fields, his determination was set on becoming an IPS officer to fulfill both his and his father's aspirations.

In 2020, after meticulous preparation, Adarsh appeared for the UPSC examination and emerged victorious with an All India Rank (AIR) of 149. Not only has he achieved his dream, but he also actively counsels and inspires other aspirants, guiding them on how to approach one of the toughest examinations in the country. Adarsh's journey serves as an inspiration, especially considering the challenges he overcame to achieve success.
