Mangaluru, Dec 23: The Carmel School echoed with the spirit of Christmas on December 23, at the school auditorium, as students gathered for a heart-warming celebration.

The festive atmosphere kicked off with a soulful prayer, setting the tone for a memorable evening.

Fathima PB warmly welcomed everyone, paving the way for a delightful welcome dance that captivated the audience. The stage then came alive with a skit centred around 'The Joy of Giving,' spreading a message of generosity and kindness.

Entertainment reached its peak with a lively dance performance, filling the air with joy. The melodious Christmas Carols that followed added a musical charm, bringing smiles to all faces.

The tableau depicting the Birth of Jesus Christ took over the stage, beautifully illustrating the essence of the season. Excitement peaked when Santa Claus made a grand entrance, spreading cheer and delight among the children.

Caroline Pais, the chief guest of the day shared a meaningful message, emphasized on love, hope and sharing as the true spirit of Christmas.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Nazra, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the festive success. Reena Rodrigues, class guide effectively guided the students to present a meaningful programme.

On the eve of Christmas celebration, a variety of competitions such as star making, building a snowman, greeting card, Carol singing etc were conducted and students enthusiastically participated in all the fixtures.

Festive celebration doubled when the faculty assembled together to uphold the spirit of Christmas in the afternoon at Mother Veronica Hall. A thoughtful prayer service was conducted to seek the blessings of God Almighty followed by a meaningful skit upholding essence of hope , love and care to the audience. Carols were sung by the faculty to spread positivity and joy in this holiday season. The celebration culminated with ‘Secret Santa' were the educators surprised their colleagues with wonderful message of love and happiness.

Carmel School's Christmas programme was a harmonious blend of faith, joy, and community spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to be part of the celebration.
