Mangaluru: St Agnes Preparatory School organizes ‘Tiny Tots Day’

Mangaluru, Dec 23: Amidst the glory of Christmas and the joyous bells St Agnes CBSE, kindergarten ‘Tiny Tots Day' was celebrated on December 22, with a great zeal. It was indeed a grand and glorious day.

The dignitaries were Dr Rouchelle Tellis, professor and HOD, department of clinical microbiology, Yenepoya University. The president Dr Sr Maria Roopa AC, the superior and joint secretary of St Agnes Institution accompanied by the school principal Sr Maria Sarika AC, the administrator Sr Edna Furtado AC, the vice principal Sr Lenita AC, the co-ordinator Sr Letitia AC were welcomed by our tiny tots of UKG with the marching steps blowing trumpets creating a magical atmosphere.

The students of UKG invoked the almighty's grace through the art of sacred prayer dance. A mesmerising welcome dance was presented by UKG students, where the audience were enraptured by the dancers rhythmic feet.

The school principal Sr Maria Sarika AC, welcomed the invitees and guest thanking everyone for showing their love and affection with their gracious presence.

A folk dance by the LKG tiny tots with their tiny feet rocked the stage that exposed to share the culture of two states.

A spectacular movement arrived, our energetic students of UKG displayed a mesmerising yoga, spiritual discipline, an art of science of healthy living that carved a place in the minds of parents it was an ‘excellent performance,’ followed by honouring our winners for their sincere efforts won laurels in various cultural and co-curricular activities during the academic 2023-24. It was indeed a proud moment not only for winners but also for parents, who had been invited to be a part of this glorious event.

The esteemed chief guest Dr Rouchelle Tellis illuminated the gathering with her words of wonder, congratulating the students on their remarkable display and talent. She expressed heartfelt appreciation to the principal and staff for the flawlessly meaningful performance. She also expressed her gratitude for inviting her.

The tiny tots marvelled the audience through a skit, on ‘Beautiful hands’ was performed excellently by the little ones.  

A tableau of Birth of Jesus Christ was enacted by UKG students was magnificent and left the audience spellbound and surely will remain a memory to one and all. Paper craft on Christmas symbols was prepared in the classroom along with each child, which they happily took home as a Christmas gift.

The programme was compered by our enchanting students of UKG Arvi MG, Reeva Lobo and Swasthi Darla. Teacher Akshitha proposed the vote of thanks showing gratitude to all gathered, and for enthusiastic participation. The programme came to a closure with a melody thanks giving song sung by the UKG students was marvelous. Refreshments were served to the parents and students on occasion of Christmas.
