Beltangady: Holy Redeemer School celebrates Christmas

Beltangady, Dec 23: Holy Redeemer English Medium School organized Christmas celebration on December 23 in the school auditorium. Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello and headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto were present.

The celebration began by singing the carol 'Gloria' to invoke God's blessings. Significance of various symbols of Christmas were symbolically narrated. A skit was played that told the story, and the real meaning and way of celebrating Christmas. Dances to the Christmas songs entertained the gathering. Carols sung by the school choir elated the Christmas vibes.

The joy of Christmas was increased by cutting the cake and distributing it to all students. In his message, correspondent gave insights to students to be good and do good and enjoy sharing among friends. The headmaster presented Christmas cake to all staff.

The students, Nushaifa welcomed the gathering, Zaifa proposed the vote of thanks and Arvin Bennis and Jason Correa compered the programme. The students of class 7 conducted the celebration under the guidance of teachers Renita Lasrado and Lorna Lobo.
