Mangaluru, Dec 23: Presidency School illuminated with splendor and zest as it hosted its annual day celebration on December  23, with the resounding theme, ‘Zakti - Embrace the Power.’ The event was an exquisite display of vibrancy and  resplendence, reverberating with life.  

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of guest Ram Nayak Y, police sub inspector, Vamanjoor  Jurisdiction. Our proud parents added to the honour of the occasion.  

The symbolic lighting of the lamp by the guest Ram Nayak Y, police sub inspector, management co-ordinator  Javed Lathif, assistant director Arun Devraj, the principal, Shaila Saldanha, admin manager Prathibha Chetan, took  on an added significance as did the invocation that followed. Ayesha Ilham, coordinator extended a warm formal  welcome, setting the stage for an evening filled with enchantment. The principal, Shaila Saldanha, presented the progressive annual report, showcasing the school awards and the remarkable accomplishments of the students across various academic and co-curricular events.  

The programme artfully wove various hues that aligned perfectly with the chosen theme. ‘Zakti - Embrace the Power’  resonated with the spirit of the sustainable development goals, emphasizing the impact of our present choices on the  world of tomorrow. Each student and staff member's creative acts and achievements contributed to a larger narrative of  sustainability and positive global impact.  

The evening unfolded with an array of talent, imagination, and impeccable organization. The students showcased their  prowess through dance performances with colorful props. A well-directed dance drama captivated the audience,  infusing the stage with energy. The dance medley, a fusion of athleticism and elegance, stole the show, leaving the  audience in awe with breathtaking finesse.  

Anand Prasad, COD, expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of all involved.  The exhilarating show concluded, leaving an indelible impression on every attendee. It was indeed a spectacular  showcase of talent and fervor, marking a blissful end to the celebration.
