Bantwal: Bold robbery unfolds beside police station, culprits caught on CCTV

Bantwal, Dec 25: In a daring incident near the BC Road police station, masked robbers, armed with weapons, successfully stole a substantial sum of over Rs 70,000 in cash, despite the presence of CCTV cameras. The robbery occurred at a hotel located just a short distance away from the police station, adding to the audacity of the culprits.

A series of thefts occurred in several shops recently at the BC Road-Kaikamba junction. Following the incidents, burglars entered hotels, medical stores, and various other places, on Sunday midnight on the main street of BC Road.

Two thieves targeted a roadside hotel and stole over Rs 70,000 cash from the cash drawer. The thief, is seen forcibly removing the gate of the hotel in CCTV footage. Moreover, as he enters, he is seen wearing a mask to evade the CCTV cameras installed at various places, including the shop beside the hotel and the medical store located on the upper floor.
