Bramhavar: St Mary's Orthodox Syrian Cathedral honours parish achievers across diverse fields

Brahmavar, Dec 26: In a grand celebration of talent, dedication, and achievement, St Mary's Orthodox Syrian Cathedral in Brahmavar recently hosted a special event to honor and recognize individuals who have excelled in various fields within the parish.

Antony Suvaris, Richard Fernandez, Rosaline Lewis, Nathasha Nikita Dias, Roshan D Suvaris, Franklin Banz and Ryan D'Souza were honoured. 

Antony Suvaris was honoured for his service in the medical field in Holy Cross Hospital Mudigere, as RCH officer Udupi district, community health centre Kota as doctor.

Richard Fernandez was honoured for his invaluable service in border security force as jawan in Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal border, Punjab border, Poonch LOC and other border areas, Rosaline Lewis for her excellent achievements in the field of education and sports and games, Nathasha Nikita Dias for her achievement of securing 1st global and national rank in the advanced financial management paper and gold medal in ACCA affiliate, Roshan D Suvaris for completing his doctor of philosophy in computer science from Bharathiar University Coimbatore, Franklin Banz for his 21 years of service in Indian Air Force and Ryan D'Souza for completion of graduation in Finance & Accounts (BAF) in April 2023 with CGPA 9.86 out of 10 from University of Mumbai and also successfully clearing CMA (Certified Management Accountant from Institute of Certified Management Accountants) scoring 880 marks out of 1000.

Fr MC Mathai, vicar general of the cathedral and Fr Marwin D'Silva honoured the achievers. Members of the pastoral committee and parishioners were present.
