Kundapur, Dec 28: A blood donation camp was organized by National service scheme and Youth Red Cross Unit of Moodlakatte Engineering College, in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Kundapur taluk unit, sponsored by HDFC Bank Kundapur.

Dr Pulakitha Bhatia M, IRC S Kundapur of Pathology inaugurated the programme and spoke about the importance of blood donation and said about the preliminary tests of blood donation. Dr Abdul Karim, the principal of the college who presided over the programme said that blood donation is very important and encouraged the students to donate blood in large numbers and make the programme a success.

Pallavi Shetty, head of HDFC bank loan division Kundapur, Ananth Kundapur, vice president of parent teacher association Sudhakar Shetty, vice principal of the college Prof Melvin D’Souza, National Service Scheme Cell coordinator professor Balanageshwar S, college staff and students were present.
