Udupi: SMVITM Bantakal organizes ‘Decennial Alumni Meet’

Udupi, Dec 30: ‘Decennial Alumni Meet – 2023’ of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal was organized on December 30. More than 200 alumni members of SMVITM participated in this event.

Shama Sundar, governing council member of the institute was the chief guest of the formal function. He interacted with alumni on the occasion. In his interaction briefed about the importance of alumni participation for the development of the institution and the relationship between alumni and alma mater.

Rathnakumar, secretary of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi was the president of the event and in his presidential remark, he briefed on the achievements of the institute in the last ten years.

Dr Thirumaleshwara Bhat, principal of the institution welcomed the guest and the alumni. Lahari Vaidya, assistant professor and Institutional Alumni coordinator briefed the events organized by the alumni cell.

Rahul Kotain, president of SMVITM alumni association was present on the dais and in his address, he recalled the memory of his student life in the campus.

Ankita, Bhavana and Clinton compered the event. The formal function is followed by various cultural performances by the alumni.
