Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jan 2: An ambulance en route from Manipal took a sudden right turn through the gap in the road divider and collided with a medical shop in Laxmindra Nagar at 2 am on Tuesday January 2. The cause of the mishap is suspected to be a brake failure.

Fortunately, the ambulance driver sustained only minor injuries and managed to escape. However, the Janaushadi medical store, located in the commercial complex, suffered significant damage.

Thankfully, due to the early hour and the absence of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, further damage and loss of life were avoided. The aftermath of the accident presented a grim scene.
