Mumbai, Sep 13: Shahid Kapoor, who plays the role of a pilot in soon-to-release ‘Mausam’, said that if he weren’t a pilot then he surely would have taken up a profession in the Indian Air Force.
The star was heard saying, “After shooting for Mausam and playing a pilot, I know what I would have done had I not been an actor — I would’ve joined the air force.”
He says, ““Give me a plane and I want to fly it.” He is seen sporting a moustache now just like the Air Force officers.
While shooting for ‘Mausam’, Shahid has had a nice experience, he says, as he learnt how to get in and out of a fighter plane, wearing the sky blue uniform and also got the opportunity to spend time with the Air Force officers and the seeing the inside of an F16.
Shahid’s co-star in the movie, Sonam Kapoor, on the other hand, said that she is better off being the passenger in the aircraft. She says, “I have really bad eye-sight, I can’t even see you,” she said referring to the back row at a press conference.
