Udupi, Jan 12: A school bus crashed onto a roadside medical shop in the evening on Wednesday at Santhekatte. One person was injured in the mishap. Both the medical shop and the vehicle suffered damages.
Ritik, driver of the school bus, approached Santhekatte Shantinagar cross at high speed and took a sharp left turn. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the front portion of the medical shop damaging the wall, shutter, glass showcase and other equipment in the shop. An adjacent shop also got partially damaged.
Sumit, who was working in the shop received bruises on his hand and cheek. A case in this connection is registered in traffic police station.
