Delhi Blast: Kashmir Cops Seek Email Suspects' Remand


Jammu, Sep 14 (IANS): Jammu and Kashmir Police Wednesday sought remand of the two youngsters arrested in Kishtwar town for allegedly sending an email claiming that terror group Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islami had triggered last week's Delhi High Court blast, sources said.

The police have moved court to seek remand of Abid Hussain and Shariq Bhatt, both Class 11 students, who were among the seven detained for their alleged role in sending the email from an internet cafe in Kishtwar, some 230 km northeast of Jammu, last week.

The other five have been set free.

A special team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is also probing the Sep 7 blast which left 13 dead and around 90 injured.
