Congress has 'inherent hatred' for Hindus: BJP leader Ashoka

Bengaluru, Jan 12 (IANS): As the Congress high command has refused to attend the 'pran pratishtha' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly R. Ashoka on Friday said the the grand-old party has "inherent hatred for Hindus".

Taking to social media, Ashoka, the BJP leader, said, "In 1951, then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru did not take part in the inauguration of Somnath temple, which is one of the Dwadash Jyotirlingas."

"Nehru opposed the renovation of Somnath temple and tried to stop then President Rajendra Prasad from attending the event," he said.

"The Congress is saying that it is abstaining from 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya calling it is a BJP-RSS programme, but why it skipped the inauguration programme of Somnath temple," Ashoka said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he would visit Ayodhya after the inauguration of Ram mandir.

"I will see how the Ram mandir is being built," the chief minister added.

On Thursday, Siddaramaiah has said: "The decision regarding non-participation in the Ram Lalla installation programme taken by the AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Sonia Gandhi and LoP in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is correct. I support the decision."

    True hindu is loving, kind, peace loving, sharing and caring, they will never harm or hurt other people. But one whose heart is filled with hatred and , jealousy and hatred are not hindus and the government is trying to discipline them.

    Ashok anna ,just tell me where it is written that as soon as one calls someone prominent should leave everything and rush just because a new temple will be opend?and the fact that when dont want to come to opening ceremony doesnt mean he is not a Hindu.?When true Hindu is then he allows the even a poor what you call low caste person too ,to say all without caste and bars.Ram Mandir is or a temple should arm everyone.You lower yourself so.Do you allow a other religion person in your temple to step?I dont think.Each is free to go to temple when he wants and whenhe can.

Every citizen of this country has the right to join any party he likes as per Constitution. Who are you to say CONGRESS HAS INHERENT HATRED FOR HINDUS??? DO YOU OWN ALL HINDUS OF INDIA???     It is not necessary for any political party to attend the opening of the Mandir. It is a religious event but the BJP is trying to gain political mileage for the purpose of getting Hindu votes. A lot of planning has gone into this.
