Whether MLA or ordinary citizens must watch carefully while crossing the road. Now the question is who's negligence???? Pedestrians should not cross wherever the like. But the driver should have stopped immediately. According to me negligence on both.

Thank God Mr. Naik, MLA is safe and sound after the accident. This incident only goes to show how drivers can drive recklessly and it is dangerous for pedestrians to walk or cross the roads. It takes either a MLA or similar big and famous people to be victims of these kind of accidents, which is reported by the media. Leaders should understand the plea of common citizens on a daily basis, risks involved in going around. People on the driving seats, refuse to even slow down / brake if they see a pedestrian crossing. Best way to avoid these reckless drivers' dangerous actions, is to cancel their driver licence for minimum of 02 years. And also levy a hefty penalty. When Govt starts implementing these stringent rules, people will automatically be careful while driving Get well soon Mr. Rajesh Naik. !!

Thank God MLA survived with minor injuries. The highway work which is being done between Mangalore to Moodbidri has led to many fatalities and cost many lives. The work is not being carried properly and roads are being elevated without giving any considreation to the terrain conditions and soil reports.

Thank God, Bantwal MLA is safe. Cancel driving license of the reckless drivers. They should not be allowed to drive and put innocent people life in danger.
