Kundapur, Jan 15: “After I left my native place in order to realize my dreams, I did not have any contact with my village. With the intention of giving one part of earnings to my native place and getting closer to my birth place Dr G Ramakrsihna Achar Charitable Trust is established. This is most precious moment of my life,” said entrepreneur Dr G Ramakrishna Achar.
Dr Achar was speaking after inaugurating the new branch office at Talmakki Samruddhi complex near Hunsemakki on Sunday. He further said, “If one has the will anything can be achieved. I left my native place due to abject poverty. Due to my hard work, now I am doing business of the high order. Already around Rs three to five crore aid is being given in the name of our trust that is situated at Moodbidri. With the intention of extending the facilities to my native place, a branch is opened here. Money is not important for a village to develop. The resources available in that village need to be developed.”
Aid for marriage, education and medical treatment was distributed to poor people of five villages under three gram panchayat limits.
Entrepreneur Dinesh Hegde Molahalli and promoter of Sujnana education trust Ramesh Shetty were present.
President of the trust Balakrishna Shetty did the introductory speech. President Arun Kumar Hegde welcomed. Umesh Shetty rendered vote of thanks and compered the event.
