Kundapur, Jan 15: “We have only two choices. One giving away or leaving away. That is why our aim is to establish Rama Rajya that does not have bad habits,” said Syed Mohammed Beary, trustee of Hajee K Mohammed Beary.
Syed did the introductory speech at the inauguration ceremony of Beary’s knowledge campus inauguration, founders’ day and cultural programme for world peace that was held at Bearys educational institution at Kodi on Sunday.
Syed urged the government to develop Kodi beach and also make plans to develop 400 km length of beach area from Kasargod to Karwar.
Speaking on the occasion speaker of Karnataka assembly U T Khader said, “One can be born poor but it does not mean that he or she should die as poor. One should try to give good education to his or her children and make them good citizens.”
H K Patil, minister for law and parliamentary affairs and tourism, said, “Students of the coastal region are blessed. They have the opportunity of getting education on the lap of mother nature. Government will discuss and improve the beaches from Kasargod to Karwar.”
Padmashree awardee Tulasi Gowda and Karnataka RAjyotsava awardee Musabba P Beary were felicitated. MLA of Kundapur Kiran Kumar Kodgi, principal of Bearys educational university Siddappa K S and principal of Bearys degree college Dr Shameer were present.
Prof Hayavadana Upadhya Moodasagri compered the event. Various cultural programmes were presented by the students of the educational institution.
