Mangaluru: SAPUC students earn accolades in state-level philatelic exhibition ‘Karnapex 2024’

Mangaluru, Jan 16: St Aloysius Pre-University College students, Jaagruthi Adka, Bhavani J, Thrisha Suvarna, Venus Lewis and Riyon Corda showcased their philatelic expertise at KARNAPEX 2024, the state-level competition held in Bengaluru. The team earned a Vermeil medal for their outstanding exhibit, titled ‘The Royal Navy: Britain’s Grand Fleet,’ in the college entry category.

Jaagruthi Adka, participating in the individual category, secured a bronze medal for her exhibit titled ‘Olympics: The Birds Eye View.’ During this special occasion, Jaagruthi received accolades from the honourable governor of Karnataka, Thaawarchand Gehlot, in recognition of her outstanding contribution in designing the KARNAPEX 2024 logo. She was honoured with an award and a cash prize of Rs 5000.
