Govt should ensure security of 37,000 devotees scheduled to travel to Ayodhya: K’taka BJP

Bengaluru, Jan 21 (IANS): State BJP President B Y Vijayendra on Saturday said that the government must ensure the security of 37,000 devotees who are scheduled to travel to Ayodhya from Karnataka following the inauguration of Rama Temple on January 22.

“Devotees will travel to Ayodhya from January 31 to March 25. BJP will bear all the expenses. If there is any disturbance of law and order, the Congress government will be responsible,” Vijayendra told media persons.

He said that the government should also ensure that no devotee faces any kind hardship.

“The incidents like the tearing of Sri Rama’s poster in Kolar and the arrest of Kar Sevak Srikanth Poojari may lead to a situation where peace of the society will be challenged,” he said.

He said that more than 60 screens in PVR cinemas will show live telecasts of the Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22.

“People are responding well to the distribution of Mantrakshate. The state should declare a holiday on January 22 for the benefit of devotees of Lord Rama,” he said.

Our diverse cultures, across various religions and sects, have religious festivals, and gatherings, fairs, jathre, habbas, sacrificial rituals. etc etc ..... list is unending; then, special security arrangements should be applicable to all, would entail employing a separate task force which would be busy 24/7*365 with pilgrimage security; BTW, a very good idea to generate employment among the youth😊

God in Holy Scripture says You are gods or All are gods or children of the Most High so why fear? Also body animating, God given soul is Eternal so everyone will see heaven or paradise provided they do good karma specially charity. So fear only doing bad karma and landing in hell.

There is no security in the state if interfaith people talk. Why should the government see to the security when devotees are not in the state's jurisdiction? What are the moral police doing? By the way in Uttar Pradesh people there are itself not safe, I do not know about outsiders.

While your pettha gobernment BJP (Brhasta Jumla Paapies) were in power in the year 2008, your party associates have attacked churches in Mangalore Karnataka. The Christian community requested protection of Christians and the Churches. The Yeddy's pettha gobernment said, they cannot provide security to all, so make you peoples protection by yourself. Why attack others faith/religious places?! All governments are responsible for all religious/faiths and people's protection.
