Udupi: Balarama Prana Pratishte – Auto rickshaw owners, drivers offer free service

Udupi, Jan 22: Auto rickshaw drivers and owners of the city are celebrating the Prana Pratiste of Balarama at Ayodhya on Monday, Januray 22.

As part of the celebration free auto service is offered on Monday, January 22. This service is being offered by the auto drivers and owners association behind the court. The free service will be offered till 6 pm of Monday.

The auto drivers and owners said that this decision is taken on their own and asked public to make good use of the free service.

Jai Shri Ram slogans were raised by the association members during the inauguration of the free service.

    Today give free ride and tomorrow onwards again you can loot the public. Many auto drivers are just looting. Not all. Those without meter...Honest drivers won't do these kind of gimmicks.

    You can very well question the authorities and even the driver if he does not keep the meter on. Further present Karnataka state government and its administration is responsible if you are cheated by the auto driver....
