Mangaluru: 75-yr-old elderly woman goes missing from Kavoor

Mangaluru, Jan 22: An elderly woman who went to a grocery shop to buy things on January 16 did not return home.

Savithri (75), living in a rented house, near Kunjathbail Aiyappa Mandir is the woman who has gone missing. She had been to a grocery shop at Kavoor junction but did not return home.

Savitri is five feet tall with a slim build, and an oil black complexion. She was wearing a rose coloured saree when she last went out of the house.

She is conversant in Tulu and Kannada languages. Anyone who comes across Savithri or her whereabouts are requested to contact Kavoor police station on 0824-2220533.

    The police department handling this case must already be aware of the situation, and CCTV cameras in and around the shop at Kavoor Junction must be of great assistance. We hope that police and the locals soon locate her and help her get back to her house.
