Mumbai, Sep 17: In the recent music release of ‘Rascals’ starring Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, all its stars were present. All except Kangna Ranaut who is the leading lady in the movie.

No commitment kept her from coming to the event, instead she is rumored to have been kept out of the list of invitees.

Sources have said that Kangna will not be involved in any of the promos either. With rumours of Kangna being shown the cold shoulder by Ajay and Sanjay making the rounds, it seems to be very clear that it is their way of making it clear to her that they would not want to be associated with her.

It is learnt that Kangna had been showing off her connections with the two stars. When they matter was brought to their attention, it not only angered them but also their wives Kajol and Manyata. It is very obvious that Kangna will not be part of any of their future projects.

Film maker Sanjay Ahluwalia, however, maintains a very different version of the story. Apparently, the producers are miffed with Kangna after she demanded them to raise her fee as the film was nearing completion. A source reveals, “She left the dubbing mid-way and refused to co-operate unless her remuneration was hiked. Now, the producers have also filed a complaint against her in CINTAA for the same.” What is more interesting is that Sanjay himself is a co-producer of the film.

Also it is learnt that Kangna has been going about town talking about her bikini look on her own without the film’s publicists being involved.

Sources within the industry said, “Everyone in the industry know the clout that the two stars hold. It would be ridiculous to think that they had nothing to do with this at all. They are clearly targeting Kangna.” Even though the producer’s version acts as a scape goat to Sanjay and Ajay, it is surprising that neither of them stepped in for her who was once their good friend.
