Beltangady: Anugraha Institutions celebrate 75th Republic Day

Beltangady, Jan 26: The 75th Republic day was celebrated at the school ground of Anugraha School on January 26th. The chief guest Subedar Francis J unfurled the national flag along with the dignitaries.

The school choir rendered patriotic songs. The significance of the day was presented by Abhijna of class VII. Then there was a spectacular march past led by the school band. It was followed by a wonderful display of mass drill by the students, showcasing their synchronized movements.

The chief guest Francis J, was felicitated, speaking on the occasion he said, “Respect the constitution, work for the development of the nation.” He advised the students not to hesitate to serve the nation.

The beautiful performance of the students of lower primary captivated the audience Irene Rodrigues welcomed and compered the programme. The principal Fr Vijay Lobo, Antony Fernandes vice president of the parish council, members of Ujire gram panchayat Anil D’Souza and Janet Rodrigues were present on the stage.
