Beltangady, Jan 26: Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrated 75th Republic Day on January 26 in the school ground.
The programme began by singing the national song 'Vande Mataram'. Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello hoisted the flag. The national flag was honoured by salutation and singing the national anthem. The choir school sang medley of patriotic songs.
Aftrath of class 9 compered the programme. The celebration concluded by distributing sweets to the students. The primary and higher primary school students participated in the Republic Day celebration at Taluk office in Beltangady. The students were trained by the dance teacher Uday.
