Udupi, Feb 2: “The interim union budget presented by finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman is like Indian is the only hope for the world that is in crisis. This budget does not have any programme of fooling people and the only mantra is development,” said Kishore Kumar Kundapur, district president of BJP.

Kishore was addressing the press conference that was held in the district office on the union budget.

Kishore further said, “Only a strong government which has definite far sightedness can present such a budget in a county like India that runs on Federal system. This is a total self-reliant budget that is presented with the idea that the country should emerge as the third largest financial power of the world by 2028-29. The main focus is on the upliftment of farmers, small industrialists, poor and middle class people with Atma Nirbhar idea.”

District convener of BJP economic unit Divakar Shetty K analysed the union budget. BJP district vice president Pernankila Srisha Nayak, convener of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency election Kutyaru Naveen Shetty, district spokesperson K Raghavendra Kini, district Saha Prabari Rajesh Kaveri, BJP district co-spokespersons Shivakumar Ambalpady, Girish M Anchan and Srinidhi Hegde, district media convener were present.
