Mumbai, Sep 20: Kareena Kapoor, who celebrates her birthday on September 21, had planned to throw a huge party as a double celebration as her recent movie ‘Bodyguard’ was a huge hit at the box office. Sources close to Bebo said that she had planned to have an intimate dinner for close family and friends followed by a huge birthday bash.

But now that Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoon Ali Khan’s health is not in a good condition, she has decided to keep the birthday celebrations low key, probably not celebrate at all. At the least she has decided to have a small dinner with close friends and family.

Sources close to the couple said that it was Saif who was not in the mood for any celebrations. Buzz is that Saif had requested Kareena to avoid any sort of grand celebrations. It is learnt that Kareena is naturally sensitive to the health of Pataudi Sr and her beau's wishes. She even flew to Delhi to be with the family a couple of times despite her work commitments

Saif was recently seen at a Delhi fashion show but that was only because he had made the commitment months in advance.
