Voting BJP to power akin to opting for Lord Ram: BJP leader Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri

Sirsi, Feb 7 (IANS): Former Karnataka Speaker and senior BJP leader Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said on Wednesday that voting for the BJP is like voting for Lord Ram.

Addressing party workers at Sirsi town, Kageri, who is an aspirant for a BJP ticket from the Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha seat, also called upon the party cadres to spread the message and create awareness among the people in this regard.

“The Lok Sabha candidate for the constituency is ‘lotus’. The contestant would be declared at an appropriate time by the top leaders of the party. The BJP will emerge victorious here by a record margin. Last time, the BJP won by a margin of 4.80 lakh votes. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, we will create another record,” Kageri said.

“I want to tell the party workers and the people that if they vote for BJP, it is like giving their vote to Lord Ram. The vote for BJP is for PM Narendra Modi and the integrity of this country. Let us take this message to the people and create awareness,” he added.

Presently, the Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha seat is represented by BJP's Ananth Kumar Hegde.

I really want to ask Bhakts and BJP supporters: 1. Do Ram needs anyone? 2. Do Ram provide livelihood to us? 3. Do we need to give votes to people seeking votes in the name of God, not on progress or development? 4. Do we need to vote parties that divide Indians and rule? 5. Do we need to vote a party that fudge data and the PM doesn't even dare to have press conferences? 6. Do we need to vote a party that always blame previous governments for their failures, but previous government's projects are renamed and politicized? 7. Do we need a government? where the PM always says I, Me and Myself and it is not always WE 8. Do we need a government that lied on GST, Black money and note ban? 9. Do we need a government that sold public assets to private players and 2 businessmen are favored in all projects? 10. Do we need a government that doesn't allow opposition to ask questions and believe in authoritarianism? 11. Do we need a government that has scant respect for press freedom? 12. Do we need a government that buys MLA/MPS to form state government? 13. Do we need a government where the PM, doesn't respond to RTI queries and PM care funds? 14. Do we need a government where 2 people unliterally decides everything of a nation. 15. Do we need government where the PM doesn't take accountability? ROOT FOR PLURAL, INCLUSIVE, BELIEVE IN INDIAN ETHOS AND VOTE. NO GOODS WILL COME TO RESCUE FOR ROTI, KAPDA AND MAKAAN.

People have seen BJP’s Ram Raj in Manipur, Gujrat, Haryana and J&K. No Thank You. Please don’t compare Lord Ram to BJP. Ram Ka Naam Badnam Na Karo. On the contrary voting BJP is like voting for RAVANA RAJ. Time tested and proved time and again.
