Makers reveal details of Kannada film ‘Ravike Prasanga’ set to hit screens next week

Mangaluru, Feb 8: “It is not enough to give entertainment and message to society through cinema. People who watch the movie should feel that the movie is a part of their life. Generally the word blouse (Ravike) creates a comical scene in the minds of people than serious thinking. However, using the same blouse, the emotions of countless women, who are facing critical situations in life is done through the movie ‘Ravike Prasanga’,” said director of the movie, Santhosh Kodankeri in a press conference on Thursday February 8.

Lead actress of the movie Geetha Bharathi Bhat said, “The story of the movie occurs at a village in Dakshina Kannada. The female lead of the movie Sanvi lives with her small family in that village. She is 28 and though she has got several proposals none suits here. She is basically trying to find a beautiful boy. At last she gets a proposal from an overseas employed boy. From the moment she gives to stitch blouse for her marriage, the movie begins and the matter reaches the court.”

The cast includes Geetha Bharathi Bhat, Suman Ranganath, Rakesh Maiyya, Sampath Maithreya, Padmaja Rao, Krishnamurthy Kavatar, Praveen Atharva and Hanumanth.

Story and dialogues are written by Pavana Santhosh, screen play and direction is done by Santhosh Kodankeri. Muralidhar N has done the cinematography while the music is scored by Vinay Sharma. Lyrics are penned by Kiran Kaverappa.
