Mumbai: BMC celebrates Shiv Jayanti

Mumbai, Feb 19: Maharashtra governor Ramesh Bais attended the Shiv Jayanti celebrations organised by the Brihan Mumbai Mahanagarpalika at Krida Bhavan near Shivaji Park Mumbai.

A cultural programme comprising patriotic songs on the life and work of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was presented by the music department of BMC.

The governor announced a prize of Rs. 25000 to the music department of BMC on the occasion.

Administrator Dr I S Chahal, and additional municipal commissioner Dr Ashwini Joshi were among those present.
