Brahmavar, Feb 22: In a shocking incident reported in Uppinakote, Brahmavar, two women attempted to abduct a one-year-old child from her home in the presence of the child's mother.

According to the complaint filed at the Brahmavar police station by Mahima (23), on February 21 at 11 AM, the unknown accused women visited Mahima's residence in Uppinkote, Brahmavar Taluk. Claiming to be from Bombay and currently residing in Hampanakatte, the accused attempted to enter Mahima's house despite her objections.

Once inside, they picked up Mahima's one-year-old daughter and showed her videos on their mobile phones. Sensing danger, the accused fled when Mahima's elder brother arrived at the scene.
