Mangaluru, Feb 23: Kotekar Beeri Kempumannu resident Vidisha (28) tragically passed away in a road accident in Dubai on Thursday, February 22.

She was the beloved only daughter of former vice president of the Mangaluru taluk panchayat. After completing her post-graduate degree in business administration from a private college in Mangaluru, she worked in a private organization in Bengaluru.

In 2019, she moved to Dubai where she had been employed as an executive at a private firm for the six months. Despite usually commuting in the company's cab, on Thursday, she opted to drive her own car as it was late. Unfortunately, her vehicle lost control and was involved in the accident. Despite efforts, Vidisha succumbed to her injuries without responding to treatment.

Vidisha was known for her talent and active participation in Rotaract and other local organizations during her student days. Six months ago, she obtained a Dubai driving license and purchased a new car.

Seat belt only support to some extent what if vehicle sustains very bad dent due to crash. All it depends on the road speed and crash location.
