Mangaluru: Malabar Gold empowers 609 girls with scholarships in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, Feb 27: As a part of CSR initiative of education and women empowerment programme, scholarship distribution to deserving higher secondary and degree college girl students by Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mangaluru. This year we are given 609 students amount will be 30 lacs 64 thousand in overall Dakshina Kannada. Similarly, our other outlets in Karnataka will be giving away scholarships at their respective regional level too.

The chief guests were Vani Alva, zonal commissioner MCC and additional charge as a commissioner of Municipal commission Ullal, Abdul Rauf, corporator - Mangaluru City Corporation, Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld media, Sabitha Shetty, founder and managing trustee of Tapasya Foundation, Rasheed Vittla, founder of M Friends Charitable trust Mangaluru and president of Jamiyathul Falah Bantwal, Haji Hasanabba Charmadi, Karnataka Rajyotsava 2023 and social worker, Arjun Bhandarkar, president Save Life Charitable trust Mangaluru, and V Karunakaran, director Malabar Gold and Diamonds Mangaluru, Sharfuddin, zonal head Malabar Gold.

From the management, Sarath Chandran, store head Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mangaluru, and Althaf A K, assistant store head Malabar Gold & Diamonds Mangaluru, were present.
