New Delhi, Sep 26: Raj Bala, a Gurgaon housewife who was battling for life after she was injured at Ramlila maidan during the crackdown on Baba Ramdev's fast in June, passed away on Monday September 26.
Ever since her injury on June 4, the 51-year-old woman was in the ICU of G B Pant Hospital here.
She had suffered spinal injuries and was paralysed. She was beaten up by Delhi police on her back and neck. She was put on ventilator support thereafter.
Raj Bala was among the many who were beaten up by police on June 4 crackdown during Baba Ramdev's fast against corruption and black money. Thousands of Ramdev's supporters had camped at Ramlila grounds in support of the fast, before the police resorted to lathi charge late at night.
