Bengaluru, Feb 28: BJP legislators led by opposition leader R Ashok staged a walking protest from Legislators Home to Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday against the shouting of pro-Pakistan slogans in Vidhana Soudha by the supporters of Congress leader Naseer Hussain on Tuesday.
Ashok along with other party MLAs, who walked from Legislators Home to Vidhana Soudha covering a distance of hardly one km, have condemned the shouting of Pakistan Zindabad slogans reportedly by the supporters of Naseer Hussain after his election as a Rajya Sabha member.
Meanwhile, the JDS members also staged a protest near the Freedom Park against the shouting of pro-Pakistan slogans by the supporters of Naseer Hussain.
The city unit of JDS have demanded that the culprits must be arrested and the election of Naseer Hussain must be cancelled for anti-national slogans by his supporters.
